Undergraduate Student Government Survival Guide

The 2022-23 edition of Baruch College’s Undergraduate Student Survival Guide.

The Guide is an 88-page book full of resources, tips & tricks for new students who are newly transitioning to college as well as returning students who want a refresher on everything Baruch has to offer.

Designed the layout, and front, and back covers.
Illustrated the waving Bernie the Bearcat mascot character on the front cover.

I designed the front and back covers and four inner pages of Unpost This. The pages were designed with space to be marked with comments on the information displayed. Thus the final zine includes the 4 inner pages marked with comments by me and other docents of the New Media Artspace.

The goal of Unpost This. Reshare This. was to bring attention to the voices of marginalized communities at Baruch College. As students at Baruch, we’d seen casual racism and a lack of support for marginalized communities run through every level of the community: students, faculty, and staff. In an effort to replace airy diversity initiatives with concrete solutions from students, for students, we wrote a diversity proposal and to connect our proposed solutions with the lived experience of the community, we started reaching out on social media. Responses we collected were compiled into two zines, Unpost This, and Reshare This, each backed with our proposal.

The zines were xeroxed on 11" x 17" newsprint paper and distributed on campus.

Team S.O.A.R.

A team of Students Organizing And Reimagining a better Baruch ran as Baruch College’s Undergraduate Student Government for the 2022-2023 school year.

I created logos for Team S.O.A.R. branding and merchandise:
